NICOLAS-BERNARD LÉPICIÉ (Paris 1735 – 1784 Paris)
Lépicié was a pupil of premier peintre du roi Carle van Loo and received into the Académie Royal as a history painter in 1769. However, his most significant contribution to French Art was in the field of genre scenes and portraiture, to which he devoted himself after 1773.
