Robert Capa was a Hungarian war photographer and photojournalist . He covered five wars: The Spanish Civil War, The Second Sino-Japanese War, Wolrd War II (Across Europe), the 1948 Arab-Israeli war and the first Indochina war.
In 1947 Capa co-founded Magnum Photos in Paris with David "Chim" Seymour, Henri Cartier-Bresson, George Rodger and William Vandivery. The organisation was a cooperative agency for worldwide freelance photographers.
Capa’s first published photograph was of Leon Trotsky. He became worldwide famous, however, for photographing the Spanish Civil War. His most infamous shot was of the "Falling soldier"
